Your therapist role:
I predominately work with children and young adults as I have a certain rapport with this age range. This is due to my 18 years’ experience working with all ages of children within different education settings and previously being a nursery nurse for many years.
I have experience in working with challenging behaviours from children and have worked within a behavioural unit in Grimsby. I also have experience in working with LAC (Looked After Children) and alongside the LAC team. These two particular areas of work are my passions and through my work, I can help not only the child but those that are involved with the child to help understand the presenting problem. Through counselling and exploring strategies, the child can manage their behaviours more productively. Managing anger and understanding anxiety is also a passion of mine.
