This course, brand new to Fortis Therapy & Training, is designed to teach you how to incorporate mindfulness and self-hypnosis into your life. It will teach you about your brain and how to use it correctly, enabling you to gain control over your life, to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

We all utilise self-hypnosis constantly without realising what we are doing, often our self-hypnosis can be negative and limiting. This course will provide you with the information and teach you the skills that you need to apply this to your everyday life both in and outside of work.

Week 1: Mindfulness

  • Discussing the neuroscience, brain plasticity, awareness of self and cognitive distortions.
  • Understanding our emotions and resilience
  • Developing and inner locus of control
  • Understanding difficulty
  • Mindfulness exercise
  • Homework: practice the exercises we have completed in class and reflection

 

Week 2: Self-hypnosis

  • Building upon last week’s session, linking the two together.
  • Self-development
  • Exploring who you want to be, where you are going in your life.
  • Looking at identity and your journey
  • Self-hypnosis exercise
  • Homework: practice the exercises we have completed in class and reflection

Week 3: Integrating techniques into your life

  • Developing gratitude
  • Sharing your knowledge with friends and family
  • Remaining focussed
  • Mindfulness & Self-hypnosis exercise
  • Homework: practice the exercises we have completed in class and reflection

Course Details

Mindfulness & Self-Hypnosis will be delivered over a three-week period and each session will last two hours – 90-minute education and 30-minute exercise.

Attendees will be expected to complete the homework of mindfulness, self-hypnosis practice and on-going self-reflection.

Every attendee will receive a supplementary workbook to support their learning journey and reflection.

The course costs £90.00 to take part and this includes all of your resources. Contact us to arrange a course.
