Why | I joined Fortis in June 2024. I started my working life as a travel agent. I must have liked it, as I stayed in the industry for over 25 years! I’ve always enjoyed working in customer service and meeting new people.

My Passion | Spending time with family and friends, walking the dog (and Merlin, of course, when he’s in the building).

My Little Known Fact | One of my favourite films as a child was Mary Poppins. I paused and rewound it (so many times!) to learn how to say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" backwards. I did it, eventually.

My Self-care Tip | Maybe it’s from years in travel and hearing those airline safety messages, where they say, ‘put on your own mask before helping others’. I used to think it sounded strange, but actually, you can’t help someone if you’re in a bad place yourself. So, self-care is not selfish, it’s a necessity.
