Emma Hewerdine

Therapist

Why | After a successful career in hospitality, I followed my lifelong passion for supporting others and qualified as a counsellor. Building trusting relationships, listening with empathy, and providing a safe, non-judgemental space are at the heart of my work. As a member of the BACP (01023118), I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and helping clients navigate life's challenges with confidence and self-awareness.

Who | Adults

How | BA Honours Counselling (Person-Centred Approach) and continuous professional development to enhance skills.

My Passion | I am passionate about continually developing my knowledge and understanding of people, recognising and valuing each individual's unique experiences. I strive to provide a compassionate, inclusive, and professional service while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

My Little-Known Fact | While I enjoy nothing more than a good book and a quiet evening at home, I also have an adventurous side. I've climbed Snowdon, been zip-wiring, and love exploring waterfalls and scenic walks across the UK.

My Self-Care Tip | Self-care is an essential part of wellbeing, not something to be earned. Spending time outdoors and connecting with nature, even in small ways, can have a positive impact on both mind and body.
