Hannah Sibborn

Therapist

Why | I previously worked in childcare and education, gaining experience with SN children, young adults, and families.

I realised how deeply passionate I am about the pastoral and nurturing aspects of my role, and it inspired me to pursue a career in mental health.

Alongside my training, I accessed counselling to experience what it is like to be the client, so I could understand what people go through on the road to healing and self-acceptance.

Who | I work collaboratively with young people and adults, and I strive to help a diverse range of clients with a wide variety of issues.

My practice aims to be a safe space for everyone, including but not limited to Special needs, neurodiverse, transgender, genderfluid and LGBTQ+ individuals.

How | I believe no single approach fits everyone, which is why I work interactively.

By addressing your emotional, physical, and environmental factors together, this method can reduce distress, improve daily functioning, support personal growth and enhance your overall well-being.

Passions | I enjoy curling up with a warm mug and a good book. My favourite genre is Romantasy.

I also enjoy travelling and spending time with friends.

Self-care tip | Radical acceptance: the part of yourself you’re trying to not think about is often the part that needs healing. I find self-reflective journaling helps us understand ourselves better.

If you would like to try journaling but not sure where to begin, here are some self-reflective questions that I like to use to check in with myself.
