Magdelena (Maggie) Jaksik
Why | I became a therapist after experiencing the life-changing benefits of therapy myself. Growing up with a chaotic childhood and unhealthy attachments taught me the importance of having a safe, non-judgemental space to heal. I now provide that space for children, young people, and adultsāespecially those who are neurodivergent or feel unheard.
Who | I work with children, young people, and adults, including those who are neurodivergent, experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, or self-esteem difficulties. I also support parents and carers who may need guidance in understanding and connecting with their children. My approach is inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to the individualās age, personality, and needs.
How | As integrative counsellor I use creative and expressive approaches, and person-centered practice to support growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
My Passion | Helping people feel safe, heard, and empowered to be themselves. I believe in the power of creativity, play, and authentic connection to bring real change, and Iām passionate about giving clients tools that last well beyond the therapy room.
Little Known Fact | I can leg press three and half times my body weight.
Self-Care Tip | Sea, paddle boarding, nature, sport, and a good book.
