Why | Although my career began as a teacher and leader in Special Educational Needs, a desire to understand feelings, behaviour, and the human mind began to unfold, driving me towards solving the questions that start with "why." After leading many impromptu counselling sessions with students and colleagues, I witnessed the empowering feeling it brings to simply listen and work collaboratively to set goals, taking positive steps towards the future.
This inspired me to complete a masterās degree in psychology and explore how I could combine my teaching experience with my passion for supporting others in their journey.
Who | I work with children, young people, and adults.
How | I use CBT, play therapy, and a person-centred approach to training with an adaptive and proactive style.
My Passion | My passion is to approach all things with an open mind and to ensure that the people I support, and those around me in general, feel heard and valued.
Little-known fact | I can deadlift double my body weight (well, I could pre-baby).
Self-care tip | Engage in activities that bring joy and relaxation. Nurture relationships, and seek support when needed, knowing that it is ok not to be ok.
