Why | I was fortunate enough to change my career which had previously been sales and banking related work.Ā  I realised that within that role, it was the people I worked with that interested me.Ā  A career in counselling, so a job of caring andĀ supportingĀ others, was where I really wanted to be.

How and why people think and present in certain ways has always been of interest to me.

Who | I work individually and in groups with children, young people and adults. I support clients in therapy and individuals in supervision.Ā  I work with all ages face to face or virtually.

How | As an integrativeĀ counsellor I draw on many aspects of counselling theories and modalities. I believe oneĀ size doesn'tĀ fit all therefore I use the tools and the experience I have, to help support clients in the best way I can.Ā  Talking therapy works alongsideĀ creativity in the therapy sessions.

My Passion | I love to spend time planning my travels and visiting newĀ places. I enjoy going on long walks and catching up withĀ family and friends

My Little Known Fact | Our two cats came to us from the Blue Cross and although I live much further north, coincidentally they were found in a park in Grimsby!Ā  So that's two links I now have to Grimsby - our cats and working with Fortis!

My Self-care Tip | Listen to your body.Ā  When you feel tired, take a rest.Ā  Spend time with those people that make your heart sing as they are good for the soul!Ā  Drinking lots of water helps stay healthy,Ā hydrated and aids sleep; its an easy, daily quick win.
