Susanna Wright
Why | I have always liked the question āwhy?ā and, after an early career in the arts and corporate world, I wanted to know more about the āwhysā behind peopleās experiences. As a psychotherapist, I get the opportunity to ask that question every day in a way that helps people understand and accept themselves in new ways. I donāt believe the benefits of this enquiry belong only in the therapy room - through workplace training and facilitation, I offer a similar curiosity about people and their relationships.
Who | I work with adults, both in individual therapy and workplace training.
How | The foundation of my work is relationship- within the self and with others. Sometimes this includes relationships with nature and animals, as incorporating non-human connections can enhance therapy for some people.
My Passion | I believe that human pain and distress, and the unhelpful or unhealthy responses that often follow, are always best understood in the context of an individualās unique life experience.
My Little-Known Fact | I listen to and make music with really juicy harmonies!
My Self-care Tip | Connect - with yourself, nature, dogs, friends, and family - and then find time to feel wild and free.
